Appearance;Prometheus is about five and a half feet tall, wearing what appears to be a violet and grey jointed suited of armor with red and white accents. His hair color is unknown exactly, but it is known to be long, and may be a similar grey-and-violet like his armor, though it is hidden beneath his helmet. The frontpiece of Prometheus's helmet is white and looks like a skull, with the upper jaw being exaggeratedly narrow and serving as a nose guard. His eyes are a bright red, and his armor is so tight that it appears to be his actual body, with obvious joints where the knees, shoulders and elbows would be. While armored, rather than hair, Prometheus has large blue flaps trailing from the back of his neck down, like a multi jointed cape of sorts. He's almost always smiling, but it hardly looks like a friendly smile. He also holds a large staff, white/grey in color, with a glowing blue blade of energy at one end, like a scythe.

His unarmored form looks quite similar to his armored form, except the blue flaps are replaced by long cerulean hair, and his violet and gray armor is instead a jumpsuit and clothing.

Personality: Prometheus is a reploid that loves to fight and destroy, and yet can also appreciate the subtlety of using someone to achieve a goal. Crazed and berserking at times, the Model W Mega Man is a violent fighter who firmly believes in the ends justifying the means. However, his ends and means are neither what one would consider appropriate or healthy for anyone. Prometheus hates Master Albert for making him what he is and controlling him, he hates the Mega Men and their Game of Destiny, and he hates mankind and Reploids (Earth in general) for its idiocy and corruption.

Prometheus works well with his sister Pandora, and indeed she seems to be the only person he actually gets along with, displaying a far calmer side when conversing with her. She is, in his opinion, the only other person who understands him. Still, he is generally manic in his mannerisms, exuberant and arrogant about his skills and power. He views the other Mega Men with disdain, believing them to not even have the observational ability to notice they are nothing but pawns. This leads to him speaking to every Mega Man in a disdainful and condescending tone.

Prometheus holds almost all intelligent life in complete contempt. In his eyes, anyone so willing to allow themselves to become sheep following the herd deserve extinction, making every human, in Prometheus's eyes, as guilty as Master Albert himself. The reploid is perfectly willing, and indeed eager, to take lives to accomplish a goal. After all, his ultimate goal used to be nothing less than to wipe out the world. While he no longer wishes to annihilate all life, he still holds much resentment towards other people, human and reploid alike, for having lives that are, by his view, normal. His anger, arrogance and disdain hides deep insecurities about himself and his sister, along with the envy he feels towards others for living a life he could not. Because of his jealousy and hatred, he is cruel, cynical and sardonic towards people.

Strengths: Prometheus has several physical abilities, the first two and most apparent being his speed and his ability to fly. Prometheus has several special ranged attacks beyond his beam scythe, utilizing flame and shadow abilities. Walls of fire, energy skulls that spew flickering violet flames, and of course, the ability to disappear through shadows and reappear in another, even making shadows where there were none before.

Weaknesses: Prometheus has no real weak spots, but in combat his rapid movement and ability to use Shadow techniques like Model P make bladed weaponry and melee the choice to use against him. While physically he lacks in weaknesses, Prometheus is mad and angry at the world and everything around him for the life he's lived and the way he's been used. He is easily provoked by those he considers equals, and he can be easily goaded and used by someone who knows his personality and how his mind works.

History: DAN-001, Prometheus, was one of the first three Mega Men built by Master Albert, the mad genius responsible for Model W. Originally built with repeatedly short lifespan settings, this was used to ensure that Prometheus and his sister Pandora would not betray Albert or his grand plan. Master Albert infused powers from Model W into Prometheus and Pandora, making them the first Mega Men to participate in 'The Game of Destiny', a plan that Master Albert set in motion to decide the Mega Man King among the other Biometal Models floating around. Despite this, Albert established his own plans using the game, setting himself up for becoming the Mega Man King, by activating all of the Model Ws at once.

Prometheus and Pandora played their roles for the longest time, bound by Albert's limited lifespan settings and forced to go back to him for regular maintenance. Still, Prometheus and Pandora's anger at Albert grew, and eventually developed into an unbridled hatred, as the two Reploid siblings plotted a way to destroy Albert, and bring an end to his Game of Destiny.

When Serpent stole the Model W Biometal Fragment from the research team he was on, Prometheus and Pandora approached him, setting off the Game of Destiny. Using Serpent as per Albert's orders, Biometal Models L, H, F, and P were unearthed and brought to the world. After the animal-like Reploids known as Pseudoroids were created using the power of the Biometals, the game was set into motion to pull in the two other factors: Models X and Z, made by the leader of the original Model W research team. Though Model Z's Chosen One was ultimately defeated, Model Z and Model X fused together with X's Chosen One, making Mega Man Model ZX. Prometheus himself faced the new Mega Man, and found himself surprised by how powerful ZX really was. In the end, Serpent was defeated, and the Biometals scattered among four other Chosen Ones, just as Albert anticipated.

However, an unexpected turn of events came with the uncovering of Model A, and the arrival of Mega Man Model A. Though Prometheus and Pandora faced the new Mega Man, and led him along, facing him, almost seeming to participate in Albert's plan, they were ultimately using the Chosen One to find Master Albert and slay him, thus ending his plans to be the Ultimate Mega Man. Just as planned, Mega Man Model A led the two siblings to Albert's underwater base, where Prometheus attacked and slew what he believed to be Master Albert. He was wrong, however, and the Model Ws in the base hummed to life and began absorbing the hatred and insanity from Prometheus and Pandora, leaving them weak and unconscious.

The base began to collapse in on itself as the Model Ws joined, and it seemed to be the end for Prometheus. However, it was then that he found himself on board the Crucible.
